About

Look like yourself.

That's the whole philosophy, and it's harder than it sounds. Most people don't love being photographed. They love the photos where they forgot the camera was there. My job is to make that happen on purpose.

The photographer

Hi, I'm Cam.

I'm a photographer based in Frederick, MD, shooting across Maryland and the DC area. Every session starts the same way: a conversation about what actually matters to you. Sometimes that's a couple who want to remember exactly how this year felt. Sometimes it's a business owner who's tired of a website full of stock photos that could belong to anyone.

Either way, my job doesn't change. I find the right place and the right light, I keep the day relaxed enough that nobody's performing, and I hand-edit every image you receive. No batch presets, no filler frames. What you get back are photos you'll actually use: on your wall, on your website, or in front of your customers. The experience should feel easy. The results should feel like you.

When I'm not shooting for clients you'll find me on a trail with my dog Nova, my adventure partner, my most patient subject, and the unofficial face of the pet sessions. She's very good at her job.

The brand side

Real people, real stories

The same philosophy runs through the brand and lifestyle work: no stock-photo stiffness, just people in their actual element. Dogs, courts, workshops, storefronts. Whatever your element is, that's where we shoot.

How I work

Three things you can count on

It won't feel like a photo shoot

No stiff posing, no barking directions. We talk, we wander, we let the session breathe, and the honest frames show up on their own.

The details are handled

Location, light, timing, weather calls: I sweat the logistics so you don't have to. Your only job is to show up as yourself.

The photos will feel like you

Hand-edited, true to the day, and true to the people in them. Not you trying to look good. You, looking like yourself.
