Be here.
Look like yourself.
You don't need to know what to do with your hands. Come as you are, with the people who matter to you. I'll help you settle in and find the photographs that feel like you.

Comfort comes first. Care carries through.
For a family, a couple, a graduation, or a portrait just for you, we start with the people and what the photographs mean to you. We choose a place and pace that suit the session. My guide to choosing a Frederick location gives us a starting point.
I'll offer direction when it helps, from where to stand to a small thing to do together. There is time to talk, move, and be yourselves. The preparation and careful editing are my work, so being photographed can feel easier than you expected.
A session shaped around you
Plan together
Tell me who is coming, what matters to you, and any access or comfort needs. We decide on the setting, timing, and preparation.
Stay present
Kids can take a break. You can laugh, move, and stop worrying about a perfect pose. I'll guide the photographs as we go.
Keep the photographs
Your portrait gallery arrives within 14 calendar days after the session, ready to download and share. We confirm the specific date at booking. We can also talk about prints for a home or business, or as gifts.
Portrait sessions start at $395.
The Session includes about an hour, up to six people, one location, and 35 photographer-selected finished high-resolution photographs. The Signature offers up to two hours: up to 6 participants at two nearby locations or up to 12 at one location; travel between locations is within the two-hour coverage, with the complete photographer-curated finished high-resolution gallery and at least 60 photographs. Package details are on the services page. For more context, read what goes into portrait-session pricing.
Photographs belong in your hands. Prints and frames can be ordered from your gallery; they are purchased separately.
