Most of what you'll remember about your wedding happens between the moments you planned. Your dad fixing his tie for the fourth time. Your best friend losing it halfway through the toast. The second, after the ceremony, when it's just the two of you and you both exhale.
I'm Cam, a photographer based in Frederick. My job is to be there for all of that without being the thing anyone remembers. I'll give clear, calm direction when we need it, for family photos and a few portraits, and the rest of the day I stay out of the way and catch what actually happens.

A photo isn't only about what the camera saw. It's about how it felt to be standing there. Every image is hand edited for the color, the warmth, and the light of that day, so when you look at it in ten years it takes you right back.

The best way to get comfortable in front of a camera is to do it once before the day that matters. An engagement session is a relaxed walk somewhere that means something to you: downtown Frederick, a favorite trail, the place you had your first date. You get photos for the save the dates, and on the wedding day you're working with someone you already know.

One person, start to finish
I'm the one who replies to your inquiry, plans the coverage with you, photographs the day and finishes your gallery. We begin with a Zoom conversation and agree on the timeline, preparation and useful check-ins. Your wedding gallery arrives within 21 calendar days after the wedding, with the specific date confirmed at booking. Engagement galleries arrive within 18 calendar days after that session. Do you bring a second photographer?
The Full Story includes a second photographer, up to nine hours of coverage, and an engagement session. The Wedding covers up to six hours with me.
Do you photograph small or intimate weddings?
Yes. Intimate weddings are planned by conversation, so tell me what you have in mind and we'll build coverage around your day.
What is your photography style?
Your job is to enjoy the day; mine is to capture it. I’ll guide you when you need it, including family photographs and a few portraits, and leave room for the moments that happen naturally. Your finished photographs are hand-edited to carry the feeling of the day.
Is an engagement session included?
It’s included with The Full Story. With The Wedding, you can add an Engagement Session starting at $495. It gives us time to get to know one another and make photographs somewhere that means something to you.
